For brands and retailers
Snag is a shopping-discovery app, in development, launching with clothing, shoes and bags in the United States. It has no users yet and claims none. This page says how your products would appear, how shoppers would reach you, and what we will never do with your brand.
How your products appear
- In a personal swipe feed. Each card shows your product photograph, name, brand, price and the store it is sold by. Shoppers keep or pass, and the feed learns their taste from what they keep — cut, colour, fabric, price.
- In Shop, with search and filters by type, colour, fabric, size and price.
- In saved lists people make for themselves, and in the public picks of the creators they follow.
Your product data is shown as you send it. We add labels — category, colour family, fabric — so it can be filtered and recommended; we do not rewrite titles, crop or edit photographs, or change prices.
Where shoppers buy
On your site, at your price. Every product links straight to its page in your store, and checkout happens there. Snag never takes orders, holds payment or sells anything itself. Links carry your affiliate network's tracking, and every page that shows them says that Snag may earn a commission — see the Affiliate Disclosure. Commission rates are never an input to what a shopper is shown or in what order.
What we need from you
- A product feed. The Google Shopping feed most stores already publish for Google Merchant Center is enough, sent as a link or a file. Or through your affiliate network, if we are approved in your programme there.
- Nothing else. We read the feed daily, show only what is in stock, and drop what you delist.
Want a product, a range or your whole catalogue taken down? Email us and it is removed, no questions asked.
What we never do
- Bid on your brand name or trademarks in paid search.
- Coupon or voucher listings, cashback, or paying anyone to click.
- Cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, pop-ups, browser extensions or toolbars.
- Unsolicited email or messages, or fake reviews.
- Use your photographs or name anywhere except next to your own products, with a link to them.
- Sell or share the personal data of the people who use Snag.
Where things stand
The app is being built and has no announced launch date; the journal is live. Traffic will come from the app itself and the journal — nothing bought, nothing incentivised. Who runs Snag and how it is funded is on the About page.
