Affiliate Disclosure
Effective 27 September 2026
Snag earns commission on purchases made through links on this service. When you follow a link from Snag to a retailer and buy something, that retailer or its affiliate network may pay us a share of the sale.
It costs you nothing
You pay the retailer's normal price. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your total. Buying through Snag is never more expensive than going to the retailer directly.
It does not change what you are shown
How much a product pays us is not an input to our recommendation or ranking systems. We do not move a product up the feed because its commission is higher, and we do not exclude retailers who pay us nothing. A feed we bent toward margin would stop being worth using, which is the commercial argument as well as the honest one.
How the tracking works
Affiliate links carry an identifier that tells the retailer the visit came from Snag. The affiliate network sets its own cookie at that point and later tells us that a purchase happened, so the commission can be attributed. We receive the order value and timing. We do not receive your payment details and never see your card. The full detail is in section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
Influencers
Snag will run a referral programme in which influencers share commission on qualifying purchases by users they referred. Where that applies, the influencer is being paid for the referral, and they are required to disclose it. The conditions are in section 7 of our Terms.
Current status
The Snag app has not launched, and no affiliate links are live on this website yet. This disclosure is published now so that it is in place before the first link is. When links go live — in the app or in a guide — everything above applies to them.
